For doula clients, Becca and her partner Rebecca Nguyen provide 1-2 prenatal visits, support throughout labor and delivery, and a postpartum visit. She understands that what women want for the birth of their babies is very individual and differs with each client.  Becca is respectful of each woman's desire to have a medicated or unmedicated birth and will provide support in either situation.  As an advocate for the parents, she strives to make the birth of their child a positive experience.

Prenatal Visit

At these visits  you will discuss your birth plan, child birth education options, what to expect on the day labor begins, as well as comfort measures you can take before and during.

Labor Support

Becca will be present from the time you call at the beginning of your labor through the delivery to offer emotional support and counsel as needed. This includes relaxation techniques, advocacy with medical professionals and various methods of labor support.

Postpartum Visit

During this visit Becca will address any concerns/questions regarding breastfeeding, offer support in the immediate aftermath of birth and provide referrals for continued postpartum support if desired.
